I like the original LST tires, great grip and light. Then shoot for the 20mm hubs |

the bigmaxximum should fit the tdracing mount. according to this pic, the plet has a diameter of 43mm, 25mm spacing of the mounting holes which are m3.
http://www.plettenberg-motoren.com/t...ch/BigMaxx.gif send him an email with the drawing of the motor. he might have to adjust the mount because of the 3mm flange. I had a flange on my neu 1521 and ruined the front cap. A new cap is one the way with the flange sanded off. and he will ship over the pond... |
Hay Bart, note the small 3mm tall 13mm diameter boss that sticks out by the motor, that will not fit the flat front of the tdr motor mount. After talking with tdr a few times I am sure he will make the necessary adjustments for byte if he asks nicely.
I feel your pain Byte. My aftershock(very similar to a lst1) sat for almost 1 year, brand new in the box before I converted it. Took it out and broke a rear tierod within 3 minutes. I was pissed. So I upgraded to the lst2 arms, knuckles, hubs and cvds. Losi does make a 14mm hex that fits the lst2 cdvs to allow you to use your lst1 wheels and tires. Personally prefer some 40 series wheels and tires with 23mm hexes. The lst2 stuff is much better. If buying it all new, go with rpm arms, their lst2 shim kit, the stock lst2 rear hubs and front c hubs, and new era al front knuckles. That is the hot ticket for super bash strength. |
Hey James,
I mentioned the boss/flange thing in my post.... On his site he says he can do custom mounts if you give him the right dimensions: Quote:

Yes, I know he will make that if I will ask him. But it's a expensive motormount imo.
I just searched on LOSB0014, and found it the cheapest here: http://www.ampdraw.com/product.php?u...roductid=10959 $110 dollar, 130 dollar with shipping to the Netherlands. Also saw it at AMain, but shipping is $45 dollar there! I think Ill buy it there, or does somebody know where it's cheaper? (Bondonutz bought it for $75 dollar, but that was en eBay IIRC. Also searched on eBay but only found it for $140) |
Go to ebay and buy the parts from a chopshop. You'll save a lot of money....
ps. I think I have a spare set of new lst2 arms and maybe even some axles and 20mm hexes. I'll have a look if you're interested. |

Just PM me the price of it, you don't have to look because if the price is too high for me you searched for nothing. (You know what I mean? My English is crap...) And did you already sold your Mini STE? My offer of 90 euro still applies. So if you changed your mind about the price... EDIT: Jennys RC store is a bit strange. If I click an old auction of the seller, above the item it says something like ''These items might interest you''. There are some auctions for LST2 arms, and they're all from Jennys RC store. But if I click on the ''Visit store:Jenny's RCSports'' I can't find those LST2 arms. Strange, isn't it? |
already sent you an email. The ste isn't for sale any more, I got my MMpro yesterday which fits nicely...
