Monster monk

Yea Mike sure looks like a seriously crazy R/C guy now doesn't he? And yes he does look a bit like the Monk. Nice setup for the show. Some of those vehicles look just awsome. I really hope to get one of the Baja 5b some day and bling it out. I am just not a fan of plastic R/C toys. I think it is being able to build something that only the select few get the pleasure of building. After all there are probably thousands of RTR vehicles being used out there but which ones make people stop and look twice? It is stuff like Mike and UE make that turn heads. Nice table MonsterMike.

Isn't that the same mount that Dafni used in his. I think he posted a thread on it in the Savage forum a couple months back....

Finnster 10.27.2009 10:39 PM

I thought Dafni had one made by Mike. He had a CD in one of his too.

I talked to Jamie, and basically his is very close to Mike's Revo mount, but with a different baseplate (what I am looking for.)

I am looking to see if I can get my Revo mount in there instead (as I have it and don't drive the Revo much) but the baseplate doesn't quite fit. I am weighing my options. Currently I have I Kershaw designs mount, its ok, just sits up way high. I have the servo for the rear str in there, so there is little lateral movement to adjust mesh. Mount looks really nice tho, just have to figure out how best to fit everything. I may just drop the servo lower and adapt my revo mount so it has more space to move.

Cool pix btw, Mike and Jamie come up with top notch stuff.

That's petrol (maybe gas to you American folks) not nitro.

Sooo the puller is nitro... Is it me or does it have spark plugs??? :gasp:

Edumakated 10.28.2009 12:55 PM

It was gas, not nitro. I think the guy said he was using chainsaw motors. Loud as hell when it was pulling. Sure could draw a crowd though.
