Patrick, why do you guys have a current rating for your motors? I've seen many people stuck on that part thinking the motor will pull that exact amount no matter what. IMO, it just creates confusion and leads to improper conclusions.

1520 ordered!

That's a very good point - - the current rating is the absolute maximum 2 minute rating -- we should point that out.

Nahh, it was a typo --

Only the 2650 motor has a 4S limitation. The other motors are 6S.

I'm gonna get our web guy to fix it now...

Whew.....that was close!

I don't really care who draws or poses for them, just send her over to my house (just a few hours drive - I'll pay for the gas) for a private "photo shoot". Of course, getting the g/f to agree to that may be a bit of a challenge.

only a 6s rating on the 1717??

with that low of a kv, shouldn't it be higher?

BrianG 11.25.2009 06:42 PM

lol, I just won't tell her. Shhhh. Although she just might notice.

It is listed in the air section but doesn't say if they have ported the mamba software for braking.

Maybe it's 6S since that's the limit of the MMM.

These probably aren't meant for 4S operation? (I have a 2200 now) Is the torque difference noticable? Is the amp draw on 4S/6S lower than on 2200?

Difference between 1717 and 1510 1600kV?

Not yet -- but we are actively working on a Mamba version of the ICE-160HV.

Does the 1717 have a std 25mm bolt pattern with 3mm threaded holes? Might be a good sub for the 1521 1y in my lst... HEHEHEHE. More power!

gixxer 11.26.2009 02:40 PM
