I'd be all for trying one, only have heard good things about them. The main concern I have is that Neu is only selling them, not offering any warranty service.

EDIT: OH, so they will offer repair service, just not warranty free-of-charge service? When I read the Medusa site announcement I thought they meant no repair or warranty at all.

Go with a NEU.....they have them on sale for CHEAP right now.

Be careful ...I ordered from the Neu site 2 weeks ago...they refunded the price of the batteries I ordered but still charged full price for shipping the other items (charger adapter and connectors). I have not been able to get Neu/castle to return my calls...and you can still order the same batteries on their web site today...

Are you orderinf from Neu or Castle? They are not the same company and Castle doesn't sell batteries that I'm aware of. What where you charged for shipping? Most places have a minimum and your going to be charged that no matter what. I have been charged $5 for shipping from Neu no matter what I ordered, 1 battery or 3

I never had any problems contacting Neu even though I'm stationed overseas here in Japan. Keep in mind that they only work Monday -Friday from 0900-1430. They are closed Friday to SUnday. I usually talk to Sylvia and she had been very nice and acommodating. Instead of refunding my money on an order they run out of, I told her to just send me a 4100mah 30/60 5S battery for $85. I think this is way better than a comparable Hyperion.

Finally means I can get an affordable 60mm 4 pole motor for this. Medusa shut just as I was finishing the build and looking for electrics for it.

I ordered from the Neu site but I was E-mailed to call Castle to resolve the issue...I ordered 3 5000ma batteries with connectors and charge adapter...~$12 shipping...they E-mailed that I was refunded for the batteries but still charged the full shipping charge...I would like to either cancel the order or substitute but I was never given the chance...I certainly don't need an EH charge adapter if I don't have the batteries...to top it off, anybody can still order the same batteries today.

Still a bit worrisome that they let people order products that are not in stock but at least they were interested taking care of my complaints.

It's good to know you have resolved your issues.

From what I understood, they are behind in updating their website due to manpower limitations. They have scaled down their working hours instead of laying off some of the workers due to bad economy.

Sounds like their site needs to be connected to their inventory database. Wouldn't have to worry about listing items no longer in stock...

Sylvia is great, she's the lady I dealt with while my 1515 1.5D was in for repairs.

Is it expensive to send in a neu motor for repair? My neu 1515/3d seems to be shorted with full drag brakes.
