I think the stock 2055's are 80 oz-in, but not sure.

If it's in an E-revo the stock waterproof servos are rated at 125oz/inch torque. I could never justify money on a servo myself but when I built a 1/8 truggy to race I figured I wasn't gonna skimp out on anything, I went with a Hitec 7955TG. Awesome servo and it will throw the tires around no matter what surface your on, even if you have the wheel wedged up against a wall it will push the wheel and the weight of the front end and it does it all so quickly! I understand that it's hard to justify....Until you have a good servo!

I don't know, the reviews are pretty mixed on the HK servos: they state it centers pretty good, but it's very rough and noisy and not good for where precision is a factor (steering), but what the heck give it a try?
I use Hitec servos, and they are good thus far.

ditto.
although i dont think my ACE 1015 has the optimal amount of grunt. a little slow to turn the wheels at a stop but it seems to be going ok so far.

my ds1015 has seen a buggy, 2 revos, 10th scale's etc.

Has plenty of power to toss around MT wheels on all surfaces
