Just to chime in with a similar experience, I ordered a full PC build from Newegg a while back. When it arrived there was no cpu in the box (about $300 of the $1200 order). It was on the packing list, but not there.
Called them to complain, figured I'd just be screwed, couldn't have been more wrong. They overnighted one to me, no charge. Got it the next morning (a saturday!). Sometimes companies manage to do the right thing, and turn a bad situation around. Tony |
Hope they accomodate you !
I've had a run in w/Atomic a couple times, doubt I'll order from them ever again. Took 2 weeks to get a Losi Servo horn that was in stock, no excuses or explanation offered. Another time I ordered Losi XXX4 body and it wasn't in stock, I waited a couple weeks but after that I requested a refund and they gave me shit about it. In store credit only. I said F-YOU, you dont have when website says you did. Gimme my F-in money back. |
I use atomic constantly and have never had anything but good service from them. I actually sent them a e-mail thanking them for their great service.

have had a issue with them not returning emails after over a week...
|
ive always ordered small stuff too...never had a problem except sloooooooow shipping.. lol

I can imagine every other scenario but an empty box is..er, original?
I would be asking for some type of compensation...future discount, refund etc |

i ordered off their actual site, dont think any one had a chance to empty the box as i met the postman at the door with it, unless it happened before that. and of course i tried for compensation and i had to push for 10% off next order.

I'm a constant shopper with atomic..
It's always been about 3-4 days and it's on my doorstep.. Some large pieces, but sometimes small. At least you got compensated. Newegg on the other hand, has the best customer service I've dealt with so far.... |
