Well since I like the shocks that this one came with I have decided that I will be getting a plain jane body for now and saving some money up for the HBZ tube chassis. That thing is simply too cool, found it last night searching through RCCrawler, but quite a penny too. So with that being said I will be turning the attention to CKRC with their VW bug body for the time being, and since I'm 10 minutes away from their shop I thought I would bring the crawler by and see what they have in terms of the rear straight axle I bent the other day. Also look at some cone washers... There are just so many things you can do to a crawler...

Update.

I got that CKRC baja bug body all jazzed up and such. Looks killer. I had my dad borrow a heat gun from work so I could bend the sides in to avoid rocks, turned out nicely. Centered the steering servo, and moved the battery from the axle to between the four link on an axial plate. Looks and performs beautifully. Not to mention Reno has finally decided to go into spring mode. Should only be a week or so of Spring before we get some more snow or possibly summer. You never know living in Reno.

I'll get some pictures of everything tomorrow morning.
