Order processed, motors will ship soon! :)

Man, your fellow competitors are gonna be sooo jealous!

I'm not normally the type to jump on the bashing train, but I've used one of his products (in addition to what I've seen on forums) and KD stuff is certainly not worth the price they charge. The workman ship is not clean and looks incredibly rushed.

Speaking of which, didn't another lower tier "leader in BIG fast electric RC" fizzle out a while ago or has that festering sore grown back?

Hmmm, I am drawing a blank here...

P.S: "Unobtainium", hehe, I love Associated and it's "super-metal" names!!!

FineDesign^ ( Chris and his bro had to stop taking paychecks because business is so bad ).

I noticed the bad picture quality, but alot of pictures on the KD website are like that. Didnt think he'd sink to photoshopping motors because he either didnt have a good picture or wanted to mislead people deliberately; only 1/5 scale 2 pole motor I would use is a lehner.

You gotta be shitting me if hes calling that^ 1/5 scale....

simplechamp 05.09.2010 10:42 AM

The dimensions say 54x96 so it can't be the same as the Orion motor. For comparison, how big is the Castle 1717?

TexasSP 05.09.2010 10:44 AM

No one is saying it will be the orion motor, he just edited a photo of the orion motor to represent his 5th scale motor.

suicideneil 05.09.2010 12:13 PM

Good point. Its still all rather fishy though...

Maybe?

Obviously no one considered that the bunch of detectives would nit-pick and and scutinize the photo as closly as you all have ?
:rofl::rofl:

If he plans on selling a 1/5 BL motor, and he didn't have a picture of it yet, he should have just had an "Image Not Available" thing instead of PhotoChopping an Orion Vortex 8 and two other CC/Neu motors, resizing and recoloring them.

I thought Neil was...

But I think it's just a huge Feigao clone with fins.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that dislike's Kershaw. He ripped me off on a small item, which is sad because if he hadn't I would've likely purchased more stuff. Poor business practices, so even if the product fails, good luck with his lack of customer service. It's also likely that is a 2-pole motor. As stated, I wouldn't put a 2-pole in a 1/5 scale unless it were a Lehner.

Chadworkz 05.09.2010 09:55 PM

There is no motor, that's the problem/point! He Photoshopped a picture of an existing Orion Vortex-8 1/8 BL Motor, changing the size and color, and said it was his new 1/5 BL motor.
