redshift-i rolled my car without the pinion gear on the motor down my drive at 20-25mph with no sound. but when the pinion is on, the noise appears but is a LOT more noticable wile holding the same speed or coasting, i can't even hear it when i'm on the gas or brake much. Quote:

ok, my plans for today got cancled so i was able to take the monster apart. maybe you guys could spot something?

Everything looks normal, but I can not touch it to see if the bearings move, or twist the rotor to see if it is still secured.

And there is no pic of the front bearing as far as I can tell. Weird noises from the motor are usually caused by bad bearings I'm guessing.
