Gotta do em in series and remove the ground from one iirc. Talked about it in the thread on them. But be carefull there will be a shock hazard present as there would be a difference in voltage between the two cases unless you could find some really expensive material to cover them with....

Can I flame maxamps again, pretty please? I'll be even more creative than last time ( it was worth it... )...

Actually

Actually I am surprized that they are only selling them for $80. Knowing how inflated their battery prices are I would have expected this would have been listed for $150-$200 each. $2.00 for the power supply, $20 for an hours worth of work converting it, and about $130 for that beautiful shrink wrap. It costs a lot of money to get that wrap made up with your very own logo on it. They just keep instilling faith to all of us. Way to go company "P".

how do you hook 2 supplies together to get 24v?

You can look here (not a safe thing to do with these supplies) - How to build a $20 47A power supply

Yes we know this, that is why this thread was started in the first place, and why all of the comments have been made in the context that they have been. I guess the level of whit has been lost in the writing.

The danger with these power supplies has been with leaving the case energized which could result in the user being electricuted. By placing a 5mm plastic wrap with fancy graphics around the case it becomes insulated and you are protected. ha :rofl:ha:intello: ha :whistle:ha:oh: ha :rofl:ha ha ha ha ha ha

Snelle did you at least write the idea down and mail it to yourself for some legal protection?

LOL. They would have to deal with Hewlett Packard/Compaq for that one, which deals with big lawsuits on a frequent basis.

The PS mods have been around for a long time... I run a pair of much better specced units, that are also smaller and look better!! Paid about 20 bucks each.

At least MA sell a PS that can keep up with the hyperion chargers...

I agree. Really dont even have a problem with this one at all. Compared to the power supplies at hobby shops its a great deal.

Very true, PS that are sold thru hobby locations are expensive. I paid something ridiculous for my 1st PS before I knew what was up.

80 bucks is not so bad, have you seen their lipo prices:whistle:

Grade A power supplies, wraped today with fresh shrinking tube!
