lol, since I run 4s on a medusa 36-50-2200 motor, rotating mass is not a big concern. I'm actually thinking of putting a Tekin buggy motor in it since I'm running the MMPro.

Practiced with the rash again last night. After the lcg conversion and the proline protrac kit this thing is a serious contender in two wheel in the hands of someone who can drive. The roll center adjustability of the protrac kit is the key IMO. Got the truck pretty dialed in last night with a few adjustments here and there but overall just things to suit my driving style. Still has a slight push but I will change the front damping and get rid of it next time I run it. Also went back to a three cell setup as my prized 1406 had a bearing failure yesterday. 12.5 speedgem on 3s with no timing geared 25/90 has plenty of bottom end and is pretty quick on the top too. Temps are around 130's after a six minute run, might add a little timing to squeeze out some more top end as there is plenty of margin on the temps. Not really an actual slash anymore but for the $120 I spent on the two conversion kits it's still cheaper than buying a new roller and it's durable as hell. I will post some pics of the new setup later today.

Hey everyone recently upgraded my lcg protrack slash with a flm sealed diff and was wondering if anyone here has any experience racing with this diff? Pretty large diff cup on it and I filled it with 30k to start for our high bite indoor clay track. Has anyone else used this diff for racing and if so what wieght oil were you running?

Hey guys been a while, work has been a little wild for the past few weeks, including our four day trip to lake arrowhead for storm. F#@&* the snow! Anyway ran the slash today for a while with some new parts. First the hacker e40 6.5 from stormer, was such a good deal I couldnt help it! Also added the strc topshaft and a associated v2 slipper and spur. Truck is planted everywhere on the track but pushes pretty bad still. Didnt really try to tune it just drove the damn thing and enjoyed the extra powerfull motor. Could just be the tires but i doubt it, same supersoft barcodes everyone runs, so i will have to tweak on it another day. convinced if i could just get it to steer its on like donkey kong. Gonna try to make it in the AM for some tuning but we will see how it goes.
