If I use 100k in the centre diff for example, does that mean I use 100k in the front and 50k in the rear, based on the X-X-1/2X rule?

Or do I stick with 10k in the front and 5k in the rear with 100k in the centre?

stick with the lighter 10k and 5k because if you go to a thicker fluid you'll start loosing traction with the center being so stiff.

as far as tires, i use the GRP for the road...i've had one set for almost 2 years and i'll probably get another 2 years out of them. here's a couple of links to the tires:

i use the blue compound. those were the old losi rally tires that were discontinued. When i order from them, it never takes more than 4 days to the United States from Italy and their customer service is awsome. they're great people there.

these tires are good for atleast 105mph and they do not balloon at all. they're also high bite and they are sticky. they work year around for me.

here's a few pics of the GRP's on my high speed buggy:

As far as off-road tires, i use these guys from ebay alot:

the crimefighter and caliber (parada) style tires work well on most tracks that i race on and they're a high wear compound. if you want a great bash tire, try the big blocks. i still have a set from last summer that i still use almost daily. For the price, it's hard to beat. hope that helps.

here's a few pics of the supra sales tires:

big block:(badlands style)

parada: (caliber style)

mohawk:

the mohawk tires are great for short grass and soft dirt.

Hi, that’s a sweet looking buggy :diablo:

How do you get the GRP road tyres to last so long??? I’ve just shredded a set of Ansmann road tyres over the last two weekends……

The GRP tyres seem to be expensive here in the UK so I’ve ordered a set of belted Sintec R/C GT slick road tyres. Hopefully being belted and shore 50 they will last a lot longer.

I’ve also ordered a set of Medial Pro Pulsar tyres for off-roading, they look awesome.

I’ve pasted the links below, were I got them from. Hopefully they should be here by the weekend so I will post some pic’s when they arrive.

Also – thanks guys for your help with the diff oils. Hopefully when I replace the centre diff oil that will also help resolve the problem
