I have an extra tekin rotor/shaft...


you might want to cut it down, but having a motor with a shaft coming out both ends might be usefull...

This would work. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLBL8&P=7 It's the same one I used in my MMGT conversion. Good hardened steel.

Mcmaster has material for making a shaft if you don't have any luck.

Use the 1055 steel. Stainless bends too easy in this application.

You can also use Sleeve retaining compound to hold it on the shaft. You can find at the autoparts store in the section where the locktite is.
