Yes, its the RCM Revo mount...http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...&cat=33...Well, so far w/the 2 battery set up, I can get 15-20 minutes run time...sometimes more depending where I am running. In the smaller parking lot 20minutes+, in the larger one where more wide open throttle is required a little less

I was told it's very expensive to run this 1/8 on road Ep. No traction as it need caster oil on the ground, need truing of the tires?

Hv u tried 4s with higher kv motor?

superek4 04.26.2011 09:12 AM

Hv anyone tried this?

No I have not tried that, but, it just may work w/the Mugen set up. I had a machinist who works for my boss do a mod for me on the 2 speed adapter and I already had the motor mount

Do u need caster oil to get traction?

No, just be easy on throttle. It is easy to spin out though

anyone converted a mrx2? someone gave me 2 cars.

TroubleMan 05.14.2011 09:58 PM

I have one of these cars and my buddy has one also we drag race them, the cars drive fine but you really need to gear up and run atleast a 5cell cause the nitro car is really close in performance. i have done a few mods like remove the oneway bearings from the front wheels so that all wheels brake but it's one of my best conversions so i'd say well worth the time.

this was some rush work when i first built the cars but now i have cnc mill access the motor mount will be replaced this week for the up and coming season. the other car is a XR80 he's now running 8s with mech brake . i have a small crack from a collision that happend last year in my front bulk so... since i don't have my bearings done yet i could post the process i use here.

superek4 05.15.2011 04:53 PM

Pls post pics when u hv it done. Wat motor mount u used?

TroubleMan 05.15.2011 04:56 PM

Also on the brakes im not really sure how other people feel about the current setup for these cars, i watched a few races with these puppy's and it seems they use the brakes to help rotate the car in the corners and i have no need for this feature so i locked the fronts to help control braking from higher speeds. so it may not be for everyone but it sure tames the car to be driven like a normal car. just my few marbles

TroubleMan 05.15.2011 05:04 PM

it's really hard to say, it all hinges on the motor you use we chose 2200kv's due to the deep gearing and speed we wanted the speedpasion mount will not work with the 2200kv so i chose to make my own mount. the revo mount from rc-monster looks good for the 2650 also and would fit a few others i just was in a rush to have what i wanted and made a few crude dude mounts if you use mech brakes you will find things a even tighter fit

magman 05.15.2011 06:32 PM

Ok then...how did you accomplish this. With my mrx-4, if I tap the bakes just a little to much, I am in trouble
