As far as ESCs goes, I've spoken with a few of my clients (The big EMS companies) and they keep telling me my ideas are ahead of its time. My ideas are more complex and advanced from what we current have, but it would be nice to see them done to get this hobby into the future. Other than that things are going well. I'm king of enjoying the Gold, Silver and how popular Brasil has become in the greedy eyes of the wealthy. It sure is making a few a lot of money, but the same people will always find a way to burst another bubble . Maybe the price of cars in Brasil will come down a bit so we can use more Ethanol . |
Life is good.
WOW sorry to hear about your medical issues. Were you trying to ride one of your R/C's and fell off? Or just trying to feel young again showing off your once alive and well football skills to the kids? Anyway hope all goes well with your medical professionals so you can get well soon.
As for the ESC issues, have you tried talking with Martin over at MGM? Yea I know some of their stuff is a little bit expensive, but he specializes in personal requirements for his clients, so maybe you can work out what you want with them and come up with the ultimate controllers. You can write to him at (m.dvorsky@mgm-compro.com). I have exchanged a few emails with him already and hope to visit their little factory soon. We live in Prague now, and his shop is a few hours drive from here to Zlin, Czech Republic, so we have to wait for our van to arrive before we can take the drive over there and meet with him and his borther. Anyway just a thought. I hate to see your ideas just sitting around gathering dust, when I am sure that we would be impressed once you have something more in production or at least in a testing phase. Good luck with that and your shoulder issues. |

As far as my ESCs and ideas goes, I wouldn't want to share tem again with nobody. We saw what happened when I shared a few of them . A while back, I did speak with Tekin regarding a micro controller, but they didn't seem too interested. |
Getting old.

I wish we could afford one of the more exotic vehicles even at the lower prices in the USA. We just purchased our new Town & Country van in December and even that is a stretch at $34K. I would love to be driving a Dodge Viper, or an Astin Martin, or a Maseratti, or even a Lamborgini Countache, but who in the hell can afford to drive something like that in these tough times? Thats right, people who have so much money that the price is not even an issue, EVER... I remember when we were kids dreaming of winning a million dollars. Hell nowa days one million dollars wouldn't get you very far. Especially after the Gov takes their cut our of your butt. If you can't win at least ten million dollars it is hardly worth the effort anymore. |
