I am way overgeared I guess. I am at 16/87 with m2k's on my stampede and when running twelve cells today it got up to 300 degrees f :dft002: :dft002: :027: . The controller was 180 degrees f. I guess I am going to have to drop a few teeth on my pinion or go up to a 90 tooth spur.

10 and 12 cells is alot of fun though. Which lipo would be equal to 10 or 12 cells?

The stampede just rides wheelies all day with 10 or 12. I am thinking of putting the 8s in my rustler and putting my ss5800 in the stampede.

I would certainly put the 8s in the Rusty. 3S and 4S would be close to 10 or 12 cells. 3S is 11.1 volts nominal or 3.7 volts per cell but when fully charged a 3S pack will be 12.6 volts which is very close to 10 cells. 4S on the other hand is 14.8 volts nominal or 16.8 volts fully charged which is actually closer to 14. Take your pick. I would personally try a 1 3s and 1 4s to see what it does.
