As far as I know Linc has the highest count. He played around with the idea of leaving us when he hit 10,000 posts, wether he wa serious or not I don't know

Yea James sure was a regular poster in here, and also lent a ton of great assistance to many people in here. Unfortunately he has more pressing matters taking up all of his time these days, so we have to move on without him. I have not seen him in here for quite a while now. Whats really amazing is when you look at all of the members in here and how many of them have a big fat zero for how many posts they have. I bet half of the members listed in the data base have absolutely no posts. Hey MIke of BrianG wouldn't it make sense to clean this up and free up some data space for more usable forum activities? I just think its pittiful that some many people went through the trouble of joining and then just never interacted with the forum. I bet most of them have been off of the site for years. Just my 2c.

There has been a thread about the overall activity on the forum. There isn't a whole lot of questions to be answered anymore. With all the plug and play systems and RTR brushless trucks there's not much that needs to be figured out anymore. I don't see many build threads anymore. There are still some regulars on here, I check the forum 3-4 times a day at least. Currently I'm trying to thin out my fleet and get back to some basics. I don't really ever bash anymore, just race. Sold my Savage Flux, want to go back to an E-Maxx, they are just more fun IMO. Contemplating putting my truggy up for sale as I don't have the time/money to drive to the closest 1/8 track anymore.

Linc is your goal?! Go for gold! Aim high! Shoot those posts! Linc will be loving this attention without any effort on his behalf. But don't look behind you Harold, Jerry has his eye on you. You wouldn't want to get sandwiched, right... oh.... nevermind..... ieeww!

Harold would LOVE to be the meat in a man-sandwich. Will have to be Hippie and Jerry though, as I am only on this planet for the ladies. Sorry fellas, you will just have to make due with Richard Simmons!!!

So does linc officially have the highest post count? I can just imagine the bragging he does. "Hey guys, I have the most posts on a toy car website. Isn't that badass?"

All kidding aside, Congrats on 4000 posts Harold. The forums would be a lot more formal (and boring) without your shenanigans.

I am second only to BG, as it should be, as he actually knows what he is talking about.

BrianG has 14k+ posts. And he loves to brag about it. All of the ladies at the IL lotto lunch table gather round when he whips out his massive rc post count...

I would like to think I was less helpful and more of a complete asshat, but if you insist...

Yeah, not much assistance to be given anymore, but I will remain vigilant until MA goes under...

Thats funny

Now thats funny. I could actually visualize BG sitting at the old folks home bragging like you put it. James you provided not just a lot of great info, but did it in so many ways that it always seemed different, and it was usually comical. You are missed around here. Harold is always crying about not having his best friend there to push his stool in for him. Ooops did I get out of line? Yes conversion threads are a thing of the past for the most part. Everything is RTR now. I still love the old 3906 EMaxx for its style and design. Hope things are goind well for you James. Don't be such a stranger.

I still pass by from time to time... I have plenty of rc projects to finish, maybe I can sell some of the unwanted stuff off this winter and finish up the ones I keep. Just seems like I do not have the free time I once did for this and my other hobbies.

Life will do that to you. I make it a point to never lay my head in the same room I shoot a load:whistle:

Yeah, that's one thing I miss about James. The helpful 'this is what you should being doing' response coupled with a comical backhand.

Everyone is new to everything at some stage. If you can laugh about the pitfalls/traps etc.. it's all healthy.
