Wow!!!

Is all I can say at the sheer size of the CC1717. I cannot wait to fab up the motor mount and get this beast of a motor installed. Thanks Nitro for providing me with such a monster of a motor.

Motor mount and certer plate

The first fabs of the motor mount and center plate are complete. The ones here are the templates of the parts in the works. Once I get the spur gear, I can refine the fit. The 1717 almost looks out of place in this thing. It is just plain freaking huge. The last pic is a standard 540 size 7700. Oh I cant wait to run this beast.

If you decide to do any thing XXL size with this and want alum top plate, i have http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...bay/xxl001.jpg
Not all the holes are counter sunk and they are XXL length. They are also thicker than stock.
I can spare a few...

Dayum!!! that is a nice collection of plates. I am a fool for carbon fiber though. The plate I picked up and currently cutting and shaping is 3.5mm thick. That is twice as thick as the original and incredibly stiff.
