Well I have completed the final assembly minus bumpers and body mounts and the body, test drove it around the house and I'm very pleased with it. Obvisously a trail run would be the true test but since this has turned out so well I've decided to step things up and ditch the Axial axles and install the RC4WD Blackwell axles I've ben saving. The minus to this is since I'm financially tapped I have to make my own shock and link mounts for the axles and also have to completely redo the whole 4 link set up. Not to big a deal just more time befor I can get it on the trails.

Onto the pics;

As always...very nice work. Being a welder myself, I can appreciate all the fab and brazing time you put into this. Very cool

Thanks Brian, very kind of you my friend.

I was able to finish installing the new front axle today and will try to get the rear axle in tomorrow and update the thread with new pictures showing what I've done. I only wish I went with my instincts and used them in the first place. I think I'll get another Axial axle and build another 6x6 but a smaller scale one than the one I recently finished.

I was able to get a bit more done today but not the progress I hoped for, the front blackwell is installed but need to adjust the top links yet and install the drag link. The rear blackwell; I did finish 1 shock and one lower link mount and need to make a duplicate of each. I also made a top link mount useing exsisting mount holes in the case.
This thing is gonna be pretty hefty so i was inclined to go to a bigger shock set, TRX alum BigBores, mainly due to the vast spring rate selection availible.

Ever since Linc packed up his monkey and went home I just haven't been getting the same results I was used to.

I'm thinking of going in to politics so I can screw whole nations all at once.
