I love my Quark 125. Tons of adjustments and pretty easy to program compared to some others Ive tried. Plus it comes in a clean looking package thats easy to mount. Much more finished package than the shrink wrapped Warriors. I have a 7020 and a 9920 warrior and I much prefer the quark to them. Just my opinion.

The Quark and a Feigao 540C XL motor for $370 is a great combo and a great value for the $$$$. Once again... My opinion.

Howss the temperature for the quark?

jhautz 06.05.2006 08:02 PM

I don't have a temp gage so use to old 5 second touch rule.

I ran it for 40 minutes straight with a 9XL and a 5s 8000mah Lipo setup. It ran for 40 minutes before I blew the tires off of the wheels. I checked it periodically and it never got hotter than I was comfortable with. It was pretty warm, but definitely not hot. I was running it pretty hard and wide open for quite a while during the run also. All

does anyone think its worth waiting for the mamba maxx or the new hv maxx. on traxxas someone e mailed cc about the mamba maxx and they said that it was doing 55 mph with a all aluminum e-maxx.

MetalMan 06.05.2006 10:24 PM

There's nothing out yet on the Mamba "Monster" Max in terms of release dates, beta testing, etc.

The new HV maxx just looks like they put a new case on the old HV. Probably not a huge difference from the existing one. But... I hope Im wrong. If its a step up it would be nice to use in a basher for some reliable fun.

i think im going to wait for the mamba maxx because i have 3 mamba's in my mini t, 18t, and my mq and i realy like them. but for the chassis i will buy as soon as i have the money.

Thanks guys
