The longer can will also run cooler and typically be more efficient.

whats the difference between the 380c 8t and the normal feigao 8t? which will be faster on a 6 cell pack.will these motors be faster then a 380c 6l?
sorry for the questions.

The 380 motors have a smaller rotor than the 540 motors so they can spool up faster. You can also get more runtime out of them. I'd say the 380c 8t is slightly faster than the 8s. Honestly, I haven't seen any impressive numbers with the 8s. 30-35 mph is typical on 6 cells in a rustler or stampede and 40 mph on 8 cells. You would expect that the bigger 540 motors would be more powerful, but that's not always the case. I assume the 380c 6l would be the fastest of the bunch.

alright thanks, ive been readin that some qaurks are havin some problems so would a warrior 9020 be over kill for a 380c 7t?

Superbasher 06.26.2006 06:24 AM

for the 7t you can use a 7020, im going to be using that and the 7020 should handle it fine.

meatzardd 06.26.2006 02:52 PM

actually which draws more amps, the 380c 7t or the 380c 6l. i would run the 7020 but i got the idea that it woudent be enough to handle the 6l cause in the future ill run 7 cells and i dont want it always thermaling but if this is not the case then i would definately pick up the 7020.
the help is very much appreciated

SpEEdyBL 06.26.2006 03:02 PM

The 6l draws somewhere in between a 6t and a 7t.

meatzardd 06.27.2006 09:52 PM

so will the 7020 handle a 380 6l on 6-8 cells or should i pick up the 9020

If you were to get another ESC, I would get the Quark 80. I'm not sure if it is, but if the 7020 isn't up to the task, the Quark should be.

Ive been running a 380c-6L on a 7020 in an all aluminum rustler. 7020 handles it no problem.

meatzardd - Sometimes it's good to go overkill. Example - My 9XL runs on a 9920, but i just bought a 10XL the other day, which im going to use on a quark 125. The 10XL only draws 66amps, but it means that i've got that extra securite and it wont overheat. Cooler is better.
