That is cool. I like the "gone postal"! With the shooting mail. Have a small brushless with a gear on the end with one tooth that can kick out one envelope at a time on a slide or something.

Thanks for all the complements. having a problem took out my stock e-maxx motor put in my Novak HV-Maxx was going to shoot a video but when I tested it it took off and then just stopped the motor reved up but truck wouldn"t move when I opened front of mailbox smoke poured out:032: any suggestions on what may have happened?

Sylvester 07.05.2006 09:42 PM

That sounds like a short?

It looks to me as if the batteries got hot from the lack of airflow and melted the back of the battery. It also looks like the pinion ground through the gear cover. Thats how you got your smoke. BTW cool vid, you have to shot one outside with the HV-maxx....

One way to be sure, check the voltage of the cells, if they are under normal voltage (1.4V max) than it might have shorted.

squeeforever 07.05.2006 10:43 PM

Looks like you got the packs to hot and they melted the end cap. I would put them in SxS or SPT's

coolhandcountry 07.06.2006 08:19 AM

Check to make sure your rotor didn't come loose in the motor.
The batteries just had a hi amp draw with the thin bar on the end it melts the plastic. No biggie i did the same. It worries more more about the motor in the cover.
