coolhandcountry 09.07.2006 09:09 PM

sjcrss 09.07.2006 09:33 PM

but i really don't we will ever see one in production...i highly doubt it...

The LSP on eBay which Squee won was mine...I don't know why they never went into full production but it was a very good E-MT/Truggy conversion. I raced many club races with it and won quite a bit. For the most part, it was very reliable and when I did break something, BPP send me several spares of that part. I do think it's downfall isn't so much a design problem or flaw, just that building it costs too much for most folks. I don't want to think about the original cost of mine...

Haha. Yea, thanks Mac! I just got it in today. Got it almost ready to run...Just gotta re-zero the servo and put the servo horn on it and charge up some batteries. It surprised me as to what you included! 3 sets of rims and tires, Racers Edge shock ends, shock socks, etc...WELL worth it. The truck is actually very easy to work on for the most part. It's just a little close between the battery bar and the motor...Mac, any chance that the part was the plastic piece in the rear? It was broken again. No biggie though. Had a spare in there and replaced it. I just don't thing they should have used plastic there...That one piece supports the whole rigidity of the chassis...Anywho, I should know how it runs in the next day or so :D

Glad you like it. I had spares for the truck and figured I could try to paun them off at the track or I could just give them to you, seemed like the right thing to do. Yes, it's that little plastic piece in the back...Brian said one of them was a new plastic - metal would be better. Good luck with it and enjoy.

squeeforever 09.08.2006 05:05 PM

Thanks! Yea, I think the grey plastic is stronger than the white. If I have a problem I might have Mike machine them out of aluminum.

Electric Dave 09.08.2006 05:12 PM

Must be nice to have those kind of connections...

squeeforever 09.08.2006 06:24 PM

Mike could CNC you something if you needed. Shoot him a E-mail. By the way, could you tell me what fluids are in it? F/R shocks, F/C/R diffs, if you know what they are.
