Do you have a weight on the Revo? What all did you find to drop weight?

Here are a couple quick pics. I will post better ones when I get a chance.

If anyone knows someone who has a G2R chassis, I have lots of goodies I would trade or do a partial trade on.

By the way, when I floor this revo she cogs only at full throttle. If I back off even the slightest it stops. Does any one have any suggestions why it might do this. :002:

well tamiya plugs, 6 cells i dont know what kind of cells but if there not ib or gp that could also be a problem.

PAULIE 09.25.2006 07:34 PM

I have deans plugs coming in the mail for the esc. Then I can use my other batteries. Would the plug really cause that. I ran her pretty hard and they didn't heat up. The esc was warm but nothing alarming. And the motor stayed cool. Wheelies pretty good for only 12 cells. Can't wait to see it on 14.
I still have to find a place to mount a servo so I can use 2nd gear.

BlackedOutREVO 09.25.2006 07:43 PM

well just flip the tranny 180 degrees an then mount a shifting servo whare the stering servo went if u want a single steering servo, and yes the tamiya's are probaly the problem

PAULIE 09.25.2006 07:52 PM

That is a sweet idea for the shifting servo. My plugs should be here on wed or thurs so hopefully that will solve the problem. I was surprised at the punch the modeltech motor has. Although I will still get something a little newer and a little more of a name brand. I have a lehner basic 5300 but I see it isn't rated for this kind of aplication so I will sell that and my other esc and get something more suited for this.
