I think he didn't want to go 6s on the 9920 because that is about the esc's limitations and he wants to stay away from heat issues and have room for play with the esc...

Finnster - Very true and don't get me wrong, I really like the 9920, solid speedo no question there, but I really don't like the fact that it has no built in LVC... Call me crazy, but that's a big feature to me. I'd also agree, lol, a 25mm fan would be lost on the 1950 :-) I guess my thinking and my typing got out of sync there, hehe, I was thinking 40mm, or dual 25mm. For the actual HS, I had considered cutting a Novak sync down the middle, we'll, maybe actually taking the center 1/4 inch out to decrease the curve. You could make simple stand offs for the fans and attach the HS as a can support below the motor, transfer via convection, vs directly and solidly attached, just my theory, I'm going to try something for sure :) :)

Newuser, your spot on, my BK gets plenty toasty now, granted I'm not currently using fans and know it would help, but the fact that I really want the built in LVC pushed me to the Quark (and the price!!). Not to mention with Jhautzs Quark Sync, these things run nice and cool.

Not to mention that hopefully, some day, soon, Quark will address\resolve their 6s issues with the 125s and with the added cooling, these things will be very sweet :) :) I'm still seriously considering the Lehner, but having just lost the old job..., I got to be carfull on my toys... The wife gave me the thumbs up for the controller, but has (politley) asked that I hold off on the motor until such time that I'm employed again:032: :032:
