The 6.5 HV does not have the over heating problem it was the original 4400 HV that had that problem. I have a 4400 HV with the optional 6.5 rotor in it in a E-MAXX and have no heat issues (I run the crap out of it. Sometimes 3 sets of batteries in a row)

motor for it unless you break up the trans. |
do you guys think it will be realy fun i was going to go for somethink else but the price of the HV (100$) really got me thinking and i think it will be a blast 2FAST+2MUCH TORQUE= TONS OF FUN

If it fit the truck. I think it would be fun. It is like a xl 380 motor. It may have
outside diameter of a 540 but inside is a 380 size rotor. If you want to go two packs on it a 12s on 12cells would work to. get a mamba esc as well. |
A little off topic here, but exactly what constitutes a 540, 380, etc? The little I've found by way of searching tells me that it has to do with length, but that can't be, is it?? I always thought it was related to the can diameter...

It has to do more with the diameter of the motor.
Brushed has some 550 and 600 same size in diameter as 540 but longer. It sure gets confusing. |
