so it was you...yes yes, the rotation thing really forced me to do my homework before finally getting the revo tranny......

but now that i think of it....even if it did rotate the wrong way....you could stick the engine in front and let the heat sink poke out the hood!!! now there's an idea eh???:005:

Motor out the hood. That sounds tight.

sjcrss 12.30.2006 05:53 PM

That would be sweet as keck, if you are able to do that....

BrianG 12.30.2006 06:33 PM

I want to do that with a custom BL setup: An XL motor with the RCM heatsink mounted in the center. Would look quite nice IMO...

Sylvester 12.30.2006 06:39 PM

That would look sick! Somthing to take into consideration..

overtki11 12.31.2006 04:48 AM

haha...unfortunately, the motor does rotate the righht way so...the nitro engines staying aft....

yes an ep motor with a huge heatsink would look killer sticking out the hood of a truck...

and if it had twin motors with the (now discontinued) trinity emaxx heatsinks sticking out there in teh front???......totally wick'd!!!

So the Engine rotates right for the diffsin the rear position, thanks a lot

overtki11 01.02.2007 01:57 AM

with the revo tranny ..yes.

crazyjr 01.02.2007 10:46 AM

haha..yes i do believe that this is the hardest part about the whole project....just getting off our behinds to do it.....hard to imagine that i wanted to do this conversion ever since i saw "newera's" nitro txt conversion kit on their website...

hmm.....i dun think they ever did release it tho...always said "out of stock" since day one!:005:

crazyjr 01.02.2007 08:07 PM

I remember seeing it as well, too bad they didn't follow through

Procharged5.0 01.02.2007 08:11 PM

Seems like the TXT's popularity fell off pretty quickly, not unlike that of the MGT.

overtki11 01.02.2007 08:18 PM

haha...i guess so.....

is the MGT very popular where you're at?...

i've personally never seen one here in singapore...so sad...

Procharged5.0 01.02.2007 08:27 PM

I mostly see Traxxas T-maxx, E-Maxx, and Revo plus the Losi LST2 and the HPI Savage.

Very few TXT's, MGT's, Thunder Tigers, CEN's, or others.

i would say that of the list you mentioned, the savage would be the most popular here in SG.
