I see you have the old school slipper. Look in to upgrading that to the new style slipper. Best darn upgrade you can get for a rustler. Parts needed for the conversion:

Edit: btw that comes out to $29.43 worth of parts. May seem like alot but its well worth it for someone that has gone brushless. If you prefer not to do the upgrade then plan on replacing many shafts, trans gears, and diff gears. Like I said before. Best upgrade I ever did for my rusty/pedes.

yea move that batery up beacuse i see that you had to set the pre load quite far. putting that batery up should help ease that wheelies.

for hop-ups, i would get the new rpm arms, and possibly some flm upgrades.

The thing is, I'm not getting wheelies, I guess it's too long or too heavy. I need new front springs, though, they're super soft. I'll hold off on the Revo Slipper Clutch for the XL-5, I have yet to strip a spur with a good mesh. I am going to get RPM Rear arms all the way around once they come in-stock at Tower, so I am pretty much set with this project. Ahh, I need more lexan!!! I need to build more stuff! By the way, Cool Hand, what is your... idea?
