Why is the slipperential better then the single tranny?

Dude.... You have been agonizing over what to buy forever now. At some point you just have to make a decision and start. You went from a full blown tricked out maxx and then started in on a revo conversion. Now your back to the Maxx.

You need to just pick a direction and start. I can tell you this much, no matter what you choose you will always find something you wish you would have done a week later when something else cool comes out. No one truck can be everything.

The beauty of this situation is no matter what direction you go you will build a killer truck. You have done a ton of research and looked at this from almost every possible angle. You know what you are doing!! Just take that step and start man. I want to see how yours turns out.:018:

You will keep second guessing yourself until you make yourself (or us :005: ) crazy. Trust yourself and start. No truck is perfect right out of the gate. They evolve and become what you want. Start with what you can do and add to it as you can. Then you can fine tune the performance to exactly what you need.

There is nothing more satisfying than pulling that throttle and feeling the power the first time!

(sorry. I didn't mean to rant on you, I just see you going around in circles on this and I'm just trying to give you that little nudge to start.) I'll shut up now.:010:

My...what a lovely lecture this is..:)

i have gorillamaxx's problem aswell, never knowing what is best for yourself.
so nowadays, i tend to just jump on one thing, and if its really bad or not to my liking i just look at the other options then.
so just get the gmaxx.
and if you really dont like, sell and buy the flm or so.

I can understand on both sides. But jhautz is right in a sense. Anywho, glad you went with the maxx, there is much you can do to it. Not to mention, much to spend! LOL, god knows I did on mine! Speaking of which, hey capt'n, got pics of yours yet?

Sylvester 01.16.2007 06:22 PM

It wanst my intent to lecture or offend. It was meant in the best way possible. I was only trying to point out that he has done the resarch an knows more about the maxx than 99.9% of most Maxx owners and he hasnt even started his project yet. Hes ready to start.:)

Once its done we'll have to meet up and race. I have a road racing setup for my maxx. Its no where near as nice as yours sounds like it'll be though.:018:

GorillaMaxx360 01.16.2007 08:08 PM

My is actually will be setup for road to because there is no track that is off road. I will need to practice before a race is in order because i have not drove a maxx in over a year. I live near Crystal Lake in Chicago IL.

Even though gorillamaxx360 did post a ton of threads, it sure will come in handy when a newcomer comes to the forums and acutally uses the search button. :)
