Lookin' good!

Jeremy: If you pm me (here or rccrawler) your e-mail address I can send you a couple more pictures I took of your rig. It was definately one of the more fun compititions that I've been to, I just wish I could have seen the scale rigs compete.

Here's a vid I took while my dad drove. It was taken at the East TN Rock Crawlers (ETRC) get together in Knoxville this past Saturday. This was the first time my dad has driven a crawler and the first time for me posting a video, so don't expect too much.

What axles will you be using?

sjcrss 01.23.2007 08:09 AM

Tlt-1 axles that are locked, along with a pede tranny that is locked, I will be running a Integy 55t lathe motor along with a traxxas xl-5 esc & Hitec 645mg servo for the steering duties

sven 01.23.2007 11:20 AM

Awesome, can't wait to see pics.

you'll probably want something smoother than the xl-5. there are several economical esc's that are decent crawler esc's, like the moped, rooster, etc

sjcrss 01.24.2007 08:56 AM

I think I'm gonna give the xl-5 a try and if I end up not liking it, Ill just put into my sons ruslter.....if need be...

neweuser 01.24.2007 12:03 PM

I would go with the xl-5...there is nothing wrong with the esc IMO
