Both of these are designed for 40 series tires w/ 17mm hex.

jollyjumper 01.17.2007 04:58 PM

you and gmaxx both thinkin the 8 spoke are weak huh?!?
that's good to know.
i'm trying to decide on the wheels.
beadlock or not?
oh yes the tires in the pic i posted are the axial terra-izer's.

crazyjr 01.17.2007 05:34 PM

Those axial tires look like they will bite on almost anything

jollyjumper 01.17.2007 05:42 PM

axial claims they do work almost everywhere.
they say its based on mx tire treads.

Mike.L 01.17.2007 05:43 PM

they are nice, but i dont really see a point to it?(beadlocks)

jollyjumper 01.18.2007 04:19 AM

i think i wont buy beadlock's.
there more then twice the price of regular rims.
and the chances are that when the tires are worn out your rims are damaged aswell.
but yea, i need 17mm 40's, so its proline or axial.
and pro-line rims arent so good in my opinion, there not always as true as they should be.

mike those are axial wheels.
