What would twin 2S 8000mah Lipo's do?
|
Give you boat loads of run time!
|
Yeah, it would be a great setup for the bigmaxx IMO.. nice.. In the 30K range, the motor is made for it.. on 4S2P the maxamps can handle it.
|
If you want what you describe. You could pick up a 1512 2.5 d neu motor.
It has a good power and torque. I still get decent speed and save you some money as well. Just an option. |
Id take a plettenberg over a nue any day, both are great motors, but I like the pletties better.

Only thing that's better about a plettenberg is that it's got closed endbells and a built in fan.. But even with the fan, mine got pretty hot.. Neu can run without a fan. (the fan on the plettenberg takes energy too)
both are close, but the plettenbergs only come in 1 type of wind. what neu have you got bomb? |
Rene,
Did I tell you my NEU 1515 arrived yesterday? I'm looking forward to getting it set-up. |
You just did Hank.. It's a beauty, isn't it.. It's well built. did you get the end-cap from Mike as well?
|
Did you get the 1y pro?
|
I'm using the Quark 125 with 6S Lipos without a problem at all.

I will replace the MM with a MMM when they finally get released. :027: |
You be fine man. I got the 2.5d but 1512 model. Little smaller but great just the same.
|
Ok, you posted what the pletty has thats better, now post what the nue has better.
BTW, the pletty doesnt need a fan, but it has a fan. For the same token, the pletty doesnt need holes in the endbell. :027: There is a reason why everyone says the nue is the ultimate motor, but I am not getting into that. Both are a step above the rest, but its kinda funny people are all suggesting the nue and not the pletties....and some even talking negative about the pletties...lol. |
