Report him to Ebay. If he wanted $800 for it, he should have set a reserve price.

BlackedOutREVO 02.01.2007 11:25 PM

yeh i aggree with mm ^^^^^

thats dumb.. but thats what i thought was going to happen

nbcaznmaster 02.01.2007 11:37 PM

no suprise here either, since hes new to ebay, maybe i can scare him. ANy1 know a friend cop who would threaten him a little?

BlackedOutREVO 02.02.2007 01:14 AM

LOL my dad knows a bunch.. dont think there on flea bay tho... wil he give ur money back???

jhautz 02.02.2007 01:58 AM

Just report him to ebay and let them settle it. If you bid 2000 and then changed your mind that is what he would do.

BP-Revo 02.02.2007 02:52 AM

Regardless of description, he has photos. Copy the photos (just in case the auction page goes away) and take screen shots of the auction page.

This way, if he smashes up the cars, he will violate auction terms.

Then, tell him that he legally must send the items and they must arrive in the conditions shown in the pictures and described on the auction page - tell him that if they arrive any other way or if he does not send them it is a CRIME.

Find out his address and calculate shipping that has a confirmation of some sort, so that if he ships it, he is left with proof, meaning that he has to have something to show you to prove you shipped it (this way he can't pull the "I shipped it but can't prove it trick")

Lastly, contact ebay (do this as you are talking to him). He will get an alert and know that you are serious about it.

Let us know what happens.

Stupid Question, Why risk your EBay rating or even getting kicked off with idle threats? Also, Why risk Charges for Terroristic threats? Last question and not meaning to insult, Why do you insist on doing things the hard way? The things you do, building half step, wanting to charge puffed LIMN and getting other people to risk their reps to stiff arm a guy who intends to screw you, is asking for trouble. Just let Ebay and pay-pal handle it, if he doesn't follow through or send you're money back, he is fraudulent and in the wrong, If you do anything to threaten him he could get away with the trucks and the money, If he was to sue you

nbcaznmaster 02.02.2007 07:13 AM

OH yeah, i never sent payment yet. I was going to do cash on delivery, cuz he lives just an hour away. I was going to pick it up. Terroristic threats? How is telling him that hes breaking the law a terroristic threat? I actually knew a cop guy who lives near him. Should i ask him to scare him a little, or would it be insulting to the cop? I cant lose anything at this point. He doesn't have much pictures at all, and they are pretty small.

Heres wut they can do for me. Is there any charges that can be brought up against him?

glassdoctor 02.02.2007 01:23 PM

If he's only an hour away, go get the stuff... no shipping "opps" issues.

And definitely file a complaint with Ebay.. this is their job, to deal with this crap.

nbcaznmaster 02.05.2007 06:56 PM

ahh, the a$$ pretended to go along, even askign me to pick it up last night, which i said i couldnt do. Now he relisted the item. I bet tah if i drove teh hour up to him, he would try to get extra money out of me cuz i invested time to go up there.

"Report him to Ebay":007:

MetalMan 02.05.2007 07:46 PM

Yes, it is illegal for him to relist the item. If in your auction he didn't list when the payment was to be received by, then you essentially have as much time as you need to pay him.

glassdoctor 02.05.2007 08:01 PM

No kidding... I don't think EBAY will be happy about this, if it's the way it sounds. No doubt they will cancel the new listing at the very least.

nbcaznmaster 02.05.2007 08:42 PM

Reported him twice already

coolhandcountry 02.05.2007 09:53 PM

Yep he relisted them. Only three of them. He put a shipping on them this time
and a starting price.
