Well, seeing as how he's selling so much stuff for so cheap. Maybe he is just fatigued and doesn't know what he is doing anymore! :005:

Sounds like a score to me too. :027:

Will this esc be ok with a fan and small pinion or will it fry on 12 cells? (ib4200wc)

Thanks.

Thats the setup I run in my Rustler, 7020 and 9L. :p I think the 7020 would be a bit on the small side. It might run if you geared very conservative.

Nice score on the free esc upgrade. Welcome to the forum!

Ok guys, now that im confident in the speedy, i need a pinion for this thing. What would be the best size for the 66 spur? The truck needs to be punchy to get over jumps but some top speed would be nice too. And since i will be running in a 12 cell class the engine will only hit 39000. Would 18 tooth be ok or more like 16?

that spur gear is to big i beleive, thats a high rpm i had a hacker maxx motor 40k and geared 72/16 and about 38mph and it pulled alot of amps so you might want to change the spur, as to what gearing i dont know but do a search for 9l and 12cells and you will find at least a ball park in those threads.
