it looks good, it might be a little top heavy but it doesnt look anymore top heavy than a stock emaxx. At least the battery's are right down the middle very good for balance.
For the balance it doesn't matter if the batteries are in the middle or the way Dafni uses them. the lower the CG the better.
It's a nice truck! I have seen it about a half year before, i don't know where though. Do you drive it often? Have you got a movie of it in action? Not the movie on the parkinglot, whicht was the actual first testmovie?, but more of a racing movie? |
what motor is that
? |
It is a Feigao motor.
Killarevo:
Do you have a drawing, or dimensions, for the battery plate that you built? I want to use your idea for my Brushless REVO. Thanks. |
I could swear thats a cordite motor.
Hey, insn't that the E-Revo that was posted on the traxxas forum back last December? Anyway Nice, clean truck. good job. |
I think it is. Thats the first evo i ever saw. That truck & dafni inspiered me to build the one i'm working on know.
it is a cordite......it was on the forum awhile back......we where in cape cod doing jumps in the skateboard park........a BLAST!, even came home in one piece! ooopppssss! except the wheelie bar skid plate, forgot to take it off......a nice 90 degree bend!
Did you weight it?
it around 11 lbs w/ 2-6 cell 3300's......not lite!
With other tires you might get a lower weight. and tires are the largest piece in the rotating mass thing, so lighter tires are good for the acceleration!
That aluminum topplate adds a little weight as well doesn't it? |
with that 9xl motor it has no problem with acceleration! on the other hand the top plate is definitely heavy, i am hoping to get some fma scorpion lipos and tie them into a rollcage.
Hey killarevo. You say you running a 9xl. How does that do and how many cells you run? Just asking cause i shopping in the motor catergory to. I used to have a 7xl in same kind. I like it. Just want a longer run time.
i am gettin 20-25 min run time on 12- 3300 cells........and 25-30 min on 14 3600's............................
I like the sounds of that. I planning on running 18 cells gp 3700 and gp 3300. Thanks killa.
