well, i'm a light basher if you wan't to call it that. i never really seem to brake much with all plastic cars. would it help if i could somehow put more cushion in the battery tray? if so that how would i do it?
Get some craft foam. This can be had from Wal-mart in the hobby section and they might even have some sticky backed stuff.
If you want more padding, you could use two layers of foam, or what about using wider weather stripping? Menards has this rubberized stripping that holds up well, is thick (~1/4"), and is electrically insulative. |
cool, if i go lipo whitch batts do you think i should get?
Depends on the motor, vehicle, ESC voltage capability, how much runtime you want, and space you have for them. :)
ok i want a lot of run time(30mins or more) and i have a LOT of space to run it. as far as the motor syatems, thay'll be run in a rustler with a mamba max 7700 and a e-maxx with the stock motors and ESC.
I meant how much space you have for the batteries, not space to run the truck. lol
lol ops lol. well i've got the stock e-maxx and XL-5 rustler battery tray.
i'll haft to find out how muck room both of tham have tonight.
trakpower 4900mah, the best there is.
got 2 coming my way. |
cool, the e-maxx's bat tray is 1 13/16in X 5 1/2in big and the rusty's is 1 7/8in X 5 1/2in big.
