maybe i want to do a buggy

AAngel 05.01.2007 11:03 PM

1b, sorry. I checked my photobucket and apparently, I did't take any pics of it. The buggy is now gone, but to tell you the truth, it looked like any other 1/8 buggy conversion. 1/4" aluminum motor mount bolted to the rear center diff mount with the motor on the right and the battery on the left.

All in all, I think truggies are much easier to convert because there is so much room under the body for the battery(ies). We had to get a bit creative with the battery tray in the 8ight buggy to fit a 4S2P 8Ah pack under the body.

http://http://search.ebay.com/brushl...chiZQQsaprcloZfound this brushless motor on ebay will it fit in the emaxx

jollyjumper 05.03.2007 05:52 AM

link doesnt work for me. wich motor is it?

1bhutch 05.03.2007 07:43 PM

it is the walkera 180brshless motor 3200kv and a dragon fly 60 36 esc if the esc is not good i can just buy the motor cause there are alot of just the walkera selling [or trying to be sold]. oh and the reason that u could use the link beacuse by the time u checked the bidding was already over.

1bhutch 05.03.2007 08:06 PM

i evendulty want to do a buggy and truggy from the same company losi or jammin

jammin: losi
pros: cheaper bigger pros lighter faster
cons heavier not as fast of lap times cons more expensiver
smaller
which would u chose?

jnev 05.03.2007 09:32 PM

It is mainly personal preference. Both are great companies. For me, I'd get a Jammin' truck off the internet, since my LHS doesn't sell either. But I just like jammin' better for some reason.
