I thought the stampede was the most impressive. Which it should, because I have always thought with low KV motors, the higher the load the better it runs

A4DTM, If you are serious I'll buy it, if the price is right

i hope that would be after you have tried running the neu on that velineon esc.

That might drop the value if it survives, then it would be used

Anyone know if the "V" will handle 4-polers?

Just passing on the info. I posted this on another thread that was related as well.
Traxxas is reccomending that LIPO is NOT run on their systems now. Apperently the ESC's can not handle the power as previously stated. They made a statement that Traxxas will not honor damaged ESC warentees on units run on LIPO.

Sorry, this is the actuall statement

Li-Po's Not Recommended For New E-Maxx

Posted on Tuesday, March 04, 2008 at 11:35 AM by MikeW

Although we reviewed the E-Maxx 16.8 in the February issue, using Li-Po batteries, Traxxas does not recommend doing so. Ni-MH batteries should be used in the application instead. Using Li-Po’s runs the risk of fire, explosion, or simply ruining the battery packs. Never attempt to use Li-Po’s in the 16.8, unless you are very experienced and familiar with Li-Po technology. The use of NiMH packs will NOT significantly diminish the performance of the new E-Maxx 16.8.

What does that have to do with lipos on a brushless vxl system? Traxxas is reffering to the evx on the emaxx.

Sounds uncomfortable, if you ask me. That is an exit only, IMO.

triggeraa had a good point and you have knee jerked into attacking which in my opinion is unacceptable.

this is a velineon thread and thus posting info or statements not pertaining to the velineon system need to be need to be clearly outlined as being about a different product.

Some people might think that traxxas is not recommending lipos for the velineon systems.

lincpimp 03.12.2008 11:49 AM

Calm down guys, those two are just messing with each other! I love the assclown pic, that is hilarious!
