Clever use of the emaxx motor plate, those emaxx tranny parts sure are useful. How is the velineon system doing, is it running cool?
|
That looks like a very simple conversion to do, and you pulled it off rather well. All i will say though is keep an eye on the 48p gears (may need to go to 32p, may not), and tidy up that motor plate! looks like you just cut it & mounted it to test it worked, rather than worrying about neatness (if it looks 'factory' , then more people will want their own conversion).
Ignore the dumb questions some people ask on the Traxxas forums- they say why, I say why not?..... |
So, you got it done! I see that you used the emaxx plate, but how is it mounted to the tranny?
BTW suicideneil: Stock gears are 32p. |
the emaxx plate was custom modified (yeah right. more like tried and failed) with some screw holes. conveinently there are 2 screw holes that can be used. and currently the truck does have 48p gears.

well got the jato vxl done. the truck is awesome. needs some adjusting to get top performance but a very solid truck. the truck went through one whole bashing session not too long ago. and it appears that how i built the truck and using some electrical tape it is waterproof. well enough talk. here she is all ready to go:
