Change the wiring, the batterie cables are mounted directly over the heatsink of the esc, it can't breath like that.

How is your 9920 esc is working or have you brought another one?

superflip 07.01.2005 06:31 PM

I think that my esc is dead. I finally installed the ubec. With no load the truck seems to work fine. Once I put it on the ground it jerks really badly. The esc also gets really hot. I got my temp gun and it was ~202 degrees F.

 Something must be seriously wrong. Let Mike have a look at it!

captain harlock 07.01.2005 06:51 PM

Yup, thats the last option you have and I still dont want you to get another esc before making sure that your esc has completely become a pile of junk.

superflip 07.01.2005 07:15 PM

I think that I may be crazy because I want to just buy one now and send the other one in for spare. If I can get the other one working, then I can just buy another 9l and have a dually.

muah hahahaha!!!

captain harlock 07.01.2005 07:54 PM

Suit yourself.

superflip 07.01.2005 07:56 PM

I know that it is a good idea to get the esc checked out first, but I am impatient

captain harlock 07.01.2005 08:08 PM

I have nothing to say, but suit yourself.
