Wow, this is Great! Is that FET board double sided? I am assuming it is... I would love to have a 46volt (14s A123) truck!

Yes the FET board is double sided. Just to let you all know, the 100A controller that I have has great start up just like the Quark and MGM.

Will the controller board be separate from the power board like it is in the picture? It would be nice if that were the case so there could be some extra heatsink-ing going on (unlike other ESCs that have the controller board next to the FETs).

Yes, the controller board is separate from the power board. I don't think this controller will need a heatsink, but it is nice to know there will be some spacing for one.

The 100A 10S controller did put out 3780+ watts and it didn't get hurt at all. I will do some runs with tall gearing to see if it will overheat. If it does, I will add heatsinks to the ESC.

Finally a controller that will handle whatever you throw at it! BTW, what FET's are these? Do you have a spec sheet?

are you gonna water proof that esc with some conforming compound?... would be nice with a heatsink on it.. but I love the big FETs..

I'm waiting for one of my clients to send me information on what is the best conforming compound out in the market today. A heatsink will be nice, but I have read some where that the big FETs will cool better when air is blown directly on them. I was thinking about adding some small fans on both sides of the controller and maybe incase everything in Polycarbonate.

This controller is looking mighty impressive so far...I can't wait to hear how it performs! Encasing it in transparent polycarb would look fantastic IMO...I personally love being able to see the innards of electronics.:yes: Good luck on the production run going smoothly.:smile:

to have best of both worlds.. make a heatsink that is also capable of wather cooling... that would be the icing on the cake man...

That is what I'm going to do for the ones I'm keeping, as I plan on making a custom chassis that will have space to house a water cooling system.
