Ya'll are right. Things like lower IR and bigger wires certainly heat, and sometimes it can be pretty significant. I've noticed gains from simply going to Deans connectors. Another aspect to look at is that the MMM will have more amp handling capabilities, so given everything is the same. Motor and battery, and you go from the MM to the MMM, you can simply gear up for more speed as well, since it won't get as hot.

I think (I hope) the most noticeable difference is going to be how smooth it is. No cogging or hesitations with a Neu motor. That would make me happy.

I think it would help a great deal.

I want to get the MMM when it comes out and I plan to run it on 5s, but what do you guys think would be best. the 1y or wait for them to come out with the 2.5d. Im leaning toward the 2.5d, but I have trouble waiting.

oh this is in an 10.2lb(no batteries) erevo.

Right On The Nose.

Drknow65 is exactly right. you can discuss this until the cows go home, and the only one who will really be able to see the difference is the one installing the new MMM and runing it. Yes the speed may not be a great deal better, but even so it will run faster and cooler and also longer run time wich over all is a better deal all around. Plus you won't have to push the MMM beyond its capabilities in order to get a good run out of it, hence it will hold up much longer. So the benefits of installing the MMM over the MM will definitely be worth the extra $$$. So your point is well taken and understood Sir. Good thread.
