the fun starts with 18 cells and up Mike!! i think the 2280 deserves the lable 'overkill' but still 'normal, yet rare' for an RC car...

Why not a 2740? LOL

Serum 07.15.2005 05:26 PM

Don't the 22 series produce awesome amounts of power and such? That would be awesome on a truck. Pull stumps out the ground if get traction. Can mike get these?

Serum 07.15.2005 06:27 PM

Yes, he can get those motors. I am planning on buying a 2250 for my BL savage I sold my plettenberg bigmaxx/schulze in order to get this setup..

Chase023 07.15.2005 06:49 PM

Ah.. I didn't know the 27 series were brushed. That makes sense now that I am looking at their prices lol. Thanks Serum.

2250 oooh.. going for a higher powerhouse huh..

What turn are you going for? KV? Cell limit?

Serum 07.15.2005 07:01 PM

Haven't decided yet, i can do something with the gearing though, i am going to use a centerdiff, so the gearing ratio is a bit different than the stock savage transmission. Cells, i was thinking about 18-24/26 cells and perhaps the GP2200's on more cells, to run cooler and get a nice runtime.
