I finally got some video of this running. Unfortunately it's not on a track. I'll post up some running at the track as soon as I can. I have to say that the handling is great. Very stable with the 30 series tires. The only rollover I had was making a turn through a dirt to grass transition and the change in traction got me. The motor and esc cam off a bit warm (I forgot my temp gun) but I'm sure a lot of that had to do with the fact the body does not have any cooling holes in it yet.

very nice truck

That was a good video, the thing handles extremely well and doesnt get thrown around considering its small size & lighter weight.

Very entertaining video! All you need now is some footage doing jumps at a track or something like that.

Whats the gearing on it in that vid?

Nice vid...I wish I had a track like that near me...I would never be home...:whistle:

Which track is that? Looked a bit big for the .5 . Nice work!

Riceman,
The stock pistons in the 1/8 CR front shocks are 1.4mm holes. Try the 1.5mm hole pistons and 30 or 35 wt oil. The rear will work much better and cut down on the bouncing. What 3S lipo are you using? Do you know the weight of it? I'm going to the same MM, Medusa 50mm 3300, and Rhino 3S 4000 lipo for my RCM chassis CRT.5. |
