lol, wasn't that the initial intent? C'mon man, stop procrastinating!

Ideally, it would be nice to create a table and integrate it into the forum. As an alternative, if you can port it all over to spreadsheet form, I can add the data to my calculations site, and then use active content to let users filter for certain criteria...

ok thanks great runtime thread thanks
i really like the specs and price on the quark 125b as i really want to run a 5s for insane run time and power what are your opinoions on the quark with a heat sink and 2 40 mm fans ???? will it be the right esc for me and my 9xl (i may upgrade to neu in future) but i want reliabilty

I use that setup with one of my Maxx trucks and it should work well for you too. However, please consider this:

Quark 125B $275 (125 amps, 5S safely)
RCM Heatsink $30
UBEC $25
2 Fans $25
Somewhat of a messy setup with all the wires from UBEC and fans
No USB programming capability

MGM22418 $395 (224 amps, 6S safely)
No fans or UBEC required
USB and programming card capable
Simpler/cleaner setup

Both are very good controllers...but if I had to do it all over again I would have bought another MGM instead of the Quark125B. Not trying to brainwash you but for an extra $40 the MGM is a better/flexible choice (IMO).

Here's an idea for you...it'd be nice to have Brian's calculator and some other RC tools in a format that would work on Palm handheld PDAs.

I'll even step it up a notch...imagine putting Castle Link and MGM Controller on a Palm. Then all you racers could do on the spot adjustments without having to breakout the clunky laptops.

Just a thought.

Some folks have complained about some of the older MGMs reverse feature not working correctly...but I have two newer ones that I purchased from Mike and they are fine. I would invite others to respond...because it is a mixed bag on customer service (apparently warranty repairs take a long time). But I think if you use it within spec and you don't get too crazy with gearing you'll defitely be fine.
