Oh yeah. I know what you saying. I had the 7xl out there with 30% on the epa on controller. It would still get down. I think i have problems some time :) When you going back to that therapist. I split the cost with you. :)

I'll be getting an MGM 16024 for my LST - although i believe it's for airplanes etc :)

Running 18cells and 2230 11wind, but keeping LST tranny/mech. brakes , so i dont need reverse/brakes.

This will truly be amazing if you are really going to use a 2230/11 in a LST. Hope you a nice run.

In the PDF for the MGM 160 it states "added water proof protective coating for better resistance to humidity or water",does this mean its no problem if you get caught in the rain, drive thru sprinklers or splash in puddles?

nitrostarter 09.06.2005 01:39 PM

I dont think its meant to be put into direct water. It probably saying for the occasional light spray of water from the tires or moisture in the air.

standard_63 09.06.2005 04:19 PM

I was led to believe from another user that the SC was not sealed at all, but if the PDF says light waterproofing, it should be fine for dirt and the like to prevent shorts, correct? I'm leaning more and more toward this controller...

MetalMan 09.06.2005 04:40 PM

The waterproofing is available on the "hydro" version. That is, unless all of the ones that Mike carries are this. With the older ones, you would know if it was waterproof if it said "hydro" on the package it came in. I think Mike said that the ones he carries aren't, but that he can order them.

standard_63 09.06.2005 07:35 PM

Ah, I see. I don't want a hydro one.

mt_enthusiast 09.06.2005 11:42 PM

is it possible to ask MGM to add another setting to the existing profiles to adjust braking/reverse? Perhaps setting a neutral delay value prior to hitting reverse to compensate for the multiple brake scenario? Am I in left field? I've had the issue where I just coast a bit and want to brake some. This too threw the truck for a tumble in reverse.

RC-Monster Mike 09.07.2005 11:25 PM

I plan on requesting this addition(no reverse engagement until the truck has at least stopped). It took me a while before I realized it was happening. Never noticed it while bashing around, really, but on the track, it was a bit different.

Yeah, sure would hate to do an endo during a racing. They might kick you off for trying to do a freestyle run.:)
