Here's mine, I finally added another light over the workbench area and moved my air compressor to the same side as my working area.

Nice bike:smile:
I always have multiple projects going too... tend to get bored and have to try something new. After enough new projects an old one becomes new again:lol: |

Stocks.
Now we know why a lot of the LHS shops are low on stocks. lincpimp cleaned them out. I have been in hobby shops that have less R/C gear on their shelves then he does. :oh: Of course we have come to expect no less from the pimp. Too bad you don't have the monkey bulter to clean the place up a little.:rofl::rofl:

Messin
Yo know we are just messin with you pimp. anyone who has that much R/C gear will have a hard time keeping it in any real order. A lot of us have less and our rooms look much the same. It drives the wives crazy but we know where everything is anyway.

I'll chuck my modest 'workshop' area in for good measure.
http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...f/workshop.jpg Old coffee table is now a work bench, complete with swivelling vice. Shelf has the batts and a few other bits on it; anyone want/need half an emaxx tranny? Cordless drill and toolbox under the bench, along with the blue and yellow organisers that house screws and assorted spares/field tools. CD tower has lots of plastic tubs that contain varies bits of electrical crap, like wires and fans etc etc. Charger lives in the kitchen... |
Hey Neil, the Maxx just looks mean sitting on the table!
|
I was kind of thinking the same thing. What tires and wheels are those? They would bad*ss on my Twin.
|
Those tyres would of cost abit
|
Ok here is my Small work space. I would back up to get the bench in one shot but I can't, Its a 10x14 shed. The bench is in is typical state. I pile crap on it for weeks then I have clean it to work on something.
elst on the stand at the moment http://www.volcano.net/~desmotwin/pi...p/CIMG3367.JPG http://www.volcano.net/~desmotwin/pi...p/CIMG3371.JPG http://www.volcano.net/~desmotwin/pi...p/CIMG3372.JPG http://www.volcano.net/~desmotwin/pi...p/CIMG3374.JPG http://www.volcano.net/~desmotwin/pi...p/CIMG3375.JPG |

This is nothing special but it serves it's purpose. I live in a one bedroom apt and finally got sick of working on my kitchen table. I got a scrap of countertop for free and cut it to fit in my bedroom closet. Attached it to the back wall and one side then made a leg to hold up the front right corner. The leg also serves as a place for my powerstrip. I would like to ad some small shelves to hold my tools but for now the left side that isn't really accesible to work on anything from is a good place to pile up my tools. As I said it's nothing special but proves that with a little ingenuity you can have a work area no matter where you are!
|
Space.
Thats all any of us really needs anyway. Nice use of space. Is that a DX3 on the bench. How do you like using it?

Nice Work
Hey nice work. At least you are making progress. Soon you will have a space to work on your R/C projects with pride. Plus it is always nice to know exactly where everything is so you can move smoothly through projects without having to do too much searching for parts. Good job man.

Well, we moved back towards the end of April and things have been pretty busy since. We are just now getting settled and here is a picture of the shop:
