Look at the 2.5 revo specs and see if the wheelbase is the same as the slayer...

I don't wanna!

Bloody odd if you ask me - 5mm difference - why bother!

original revo wheelbase was 12.5" and th Slayer is 12.7". Thats close enough for me to think its just the 2.5 revo chassis painted a different color. I actually hope it is. It will have ready made conversion kits for it then.

The slayer has exploded views up now. Looking at the exploded view next to the original revo exploded view it looks like the identical chassis to me. I'm just about positive the revo conversions will bolt right on.
Damn it.... It looks like I just might have to get me one of these now. It just looks like a fun truck. I just hope that someone comes up with a way to make some sort of mud guard for the wheels on this thing. The body covering the wheels looks like it will make a big mess inside this thing. Normally the body helps keep the junk out of the chassis, this body setup looks like it will collect the dirt onto the chassis. Maybe some sort of simple aftermarket under shell that will cover the chassis more tightly would be a good idea. |
It would be easy enough to make a g4slayer....
