I dont see any problems with the way things are right now. Yes, there has been a little inconsistency with some members threads, but now that the issue was raised, I'm sure the existing mods will make sure they deal with them on a more consistent basis.
I also must say, I've been on here for about 3+ years, and it is by far the most level headed forum I've seen on any subject (except when someone posts about wanting to run brushes...)

BlackedOutREVO 08.04.2008 04:43 PM

I said no

Nothing on RCM forums gets out of hand. I dont see a need for more mods.

Gee 08.04.2008 04:53 PM

No. Just plain no was to short of a post. BLAH BLAH BLAH

suicideneil 08.04.2008 05:13 PM

Who needs Mods when you have your very own God?..

I think we're alright as we are really- like has been said, we prettymuch self moderate, and any discussions that do get out of hand tend to resolve them selves through intelligent debate rather than decending intio a slanging match as I have witnessed on the noob and smack-tard forums....

Geez Squee.... Your last psot was back in March. I was starting to think you went the way of CHC.... Now that guy has dropped off the face of the earth.

jnev 08.04.2008 06:55 PM

No need for more mods. Everyone here is mature enough (I hope) that they won't cause trouble.

cemetery gates 08.04.2008 06:56 PM

I voted no. I've been here for almost two and a half years and there really has been no problems. Why mess with success? All the mods are really cool and pretty much all of the people here are very mature. I would just leave well enough alone......

magman 08.04.2008 07:27 PM

I also voted no. The Mods. here do a very good job of policing this site. I looked at joining several sites over a 2 yr. period and chose this site because of the members and how business and humor.. is conducted. You always will find members to help you when you need it as well as a lift when you have had a bad day.

The mods keep this site clean, helpful and enjoyable for all. Remember, it is a PRIVILEGE to use this site. Let us not forget this point.

That parts kind of debatable........

This is a fun place though. Feels like home, you can kick off your shoes, relax, have some intelligent conversation, and enjoy yourself!

83gt 08.04.2008 07:50 PM

I voted other. Not sure how I feel about a member starting a poll to this end. If everything runs as smooth as it does here, we must assume the mods keep good communication with each other. If they feel they need a bit more help, you can be sure they'd ask someone for it ;).

In short, as members of this resource, it's not our call.

J.

Finnster 08.04.2008 10:37 PM

No, and I don't see why. All the mods are good guys and have contributed in a huge way to the forum and Mike's business personally.

Now, if some of the mods have moved on from RC and no longer operate here, the other mods can decide amongst themselves if they need help and what other members would be invited to mod.

/thread

Nah, just been really busy. I'm gonna try and get on more often though. Damn car is taking all my money and time though.

If I was a moderator I'd consider taking this thread as an insult and close it!

liek omgz the mods tehy suck liek totally we shud maek me a mod then i can giev u all free stuf. leik LUL SMILEY SPAM! :gasp::tongue::no::na::diablo::neutral::sleep::smi le:

Really though, I don't think we need more mods. If the mods needed help, I'm sure they would ask for it, but as far as I can tell, these forums are pretty well behaved to start with.

ffactory666 08.05.2008 03:32 AM

Being quite new here only 12 days , although i have made 60 posts in that time i can't speak for 99% of you guys .
One thing i will say , this has been the only forum i have been on were i have not come across any bitch fighting , name calling or trolling absolutely no immaturity , so i voted no .
Seems like the place runs quite well by the members doing the right thing.

suicideneil 08.05.2008 05:47 PM

Welcome to RCM, average IQ: 158...

it is a very grown up forum, with grown up conversations and ways of thinking. Thats not to say we dont know how to have a laugh though... :yipi:

I think they're doing a fine job... Too many moderators creates a lot of problems.. and they all seem to be fair in my opinion.....

YogyBrushless 08.06.2008 01:17 AM

i have not been here long but this is my fav. forum online. alot of like minded, adult, mature, educated and smart ppl around. shows that the need for excessive supervision is absent.

It is kinda weird though. I woulda thought that list automatically updates itself, but apparently not... This must mean we are secret mods :eyes:.

The thought crossed my mind, but why? This is a forum designed for open discussion. And after reading through all 70 posts it appears things are under control with extremely minimal moderator interraction.

TexasSP 08.06.2008 03:09 PM

Forgot you were a mod MetalMan. :intello:

Then that would make them Traxxas Forum Mods which is what we don't want/need here.

bl-is-future 08.06.2008 03:16 PM

I think even the normal users do a pretty good job as far as stating rules of the forums. It is not very often a mod even has to step in. Also the mads was a typo. It is dam cold in the basement at the place i work so my fingers don't type up to par.
