I might be the minority here , i run an Apple iMac and never get any pop ups from any site . Don't run any anti virus either or use any special browsers .

Might be inbuilt into the operating system though ?

Running Leopold OSX and Safari for internet.

You might want to check your build - I'm only running a Core2 at 3.3ghz with 4GB on Vista 64 and it boots very quickly 15 secs or so. The main thing that slows it down is anti-virus / spyware initiatisation.

I have had very very few issues with Vista 64 - everything runs including CastleLink... (Except with the MM - works with BEC and MMM)

Are you sure that's a proper boot? It sounds like a resume from S3 suspend to me.

Antivirus can be a killer on any machine. I can make PIIs run better then late PIVs just by installing different AV software.

Macs Suck. I refuse to back this up because I get too angry and there are just many reasons to list.

Just wondering, but have you ever decided to change the hard drive or the CPU? I was happy with my iMac until I decided to swap out the HD. And having to OC the video card every time I want to play a game because it comes waay underclocked from apple. And the fact that you can adjust the fan speed when its running xp. . .

Still a good computer for email and Internet. I'm building a system with an e8400 CPU, 9800gtx+ video card, A little over a TB of RAID1 Hard drives.

Guys i'm not turning this into a Mac vs PC argument like AE vs Losi .You can argue for both sides on there pros and cons
I don't play games and have no need to change the hard drive or PCU as i got the iMac ordered with enough grunt for my own needs , but i do still run Windows on it just for my CC esc and Tekin esc .
I switched from PC after 10 yrs to Mac and never going back .

As stated with a question mark i was not sure if it was an in built feature in the Mac operating system and if i was in the minority for not getting any pop ups ?

I'm pretty sure that Safari has a pop up blocking feature. Its not built into the OS. And I have gotten popups on safari when I used to use it.
